Summer Horse Camps

Looking for a summer experience where kids can learn, grow, and spend meaningful time with horses?

At Woodstock Acres Riding Stable, our Summer Horse Camps introduce young riders to horseback riding and horsemanship in a safe, supportive, fun environment.

Campers spend their days riding, learning crucial horse care, and building confidence both in and out of the saddle. Under the guidance of experienced trainers and staff, children gain hands-on experience with grooming, tacking, and riding while developing a deeper understanding of horses.

What Campers Will Do

Each day at horse camp includes a variety of activities designed to keep campers engaged while building horse knowledge and riding skills.

Camp activities may include:

  • Daily horseback riding lessons

  • Grooming and learning to tack up horses

  • Basic horsemanship and horse care

  • Riding games and skill-building exercises

  • Horse-themed crafts and educational activities

  • Barn chores and teamwork activities

By the end of the week, our campers will leave with greater confidence around horses and a stronger understanding of what it means to care for them.
